Short version: Fill runs 100% on your own device. It collects nothing, sends nothing, makes no network requests, and nothing it fills or stores ever leaves your browser.
When you click the Fill toolbar icon and press "Fill this page", the extension fills the input fields on the current tab with realistic sample data — names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, dates and so on — generated locally on your device. It is built for developers and QA who need to fill out forms quickly with test data. That is all it does.
None. Fill has no servers, no account, no sign-in, no sync, and no backend. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your data — not the pages you visit, not what is on them, and no personal or usage data. We cannot see any of it.
Any saved profiles and settings are kept locally on your device using the browser's own extension storage, so they are there next time you use Fill. They never leave your browser and are removed when you uninstall the extension. If you save a profile with your own real data, that data is stored only on your device — treat it as you would anything you type into your browser.
No. The sample data is generated on your device, and Fill makes no network requests of any kind — no servers, no analytics, no CDNs, no API calls. It works fully offline. It only acts on a page after you click its icon and press Fill.
Fill uses activeTab and scripting so that, only after you click its icon,
it can run on the current tab to fill the fields there. storage saves your profiles and
settings locally on your device. None of these involve any network access or data collection.
Deleting a profile removes it. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it has stored. Fill keeps no data anywhere else, because there is nowhere else — it has no servers.
None. No analytics, no ads, no trackers, no external SDKs, no remote code.
